  THE FOLIO HAD NO WAY TO LOOK AT THE PHOTOGRAPH. Both OLD cards already do:
  image_detail_haiku has an Expand button and a lightbox, image_detail has a
  zoom overlay. The folio, which is replacing both, showed the frame at 72mm
  and offered nothing -- so a member is told what is strong and weak in a
  picture they cannot actually see. Same control, both worlds, since the
  folio serves Basic and Deep from one file.
  WEB ONLY, and that is the whole risk in this change: this file is also what
  the PDF is built from, so an overlay outside the `web` guard would print as
  a dark slab across sheet one. WeasyPrint never sets `web`. VERIFIED by
  rendering both ways -- the print render contains zero overlay, button or
  script elements -- not by trusting the flag.
  The picture shown is the stored copy, capped at 1500px on the long edge.
  The original is read at upload and deleted, so there is no larger file to
  offer; on a phone or laptop that fills the screen honestly, on a large
  desktop monitor it fills the screen without the detail of the member\'s own
  file. Recorded here so the button is never taken as a promise of
  resolution the platform does not hold.
  Opens from the button or the photograph, closes on the cross, on the
  surround, or on Escape. Checked at 390, 768 and 1280: no sideways scroll,
  44px target on all three.

  "AUTHENTICITY CHECKED" IS REMOVED FROM THE BASIC CARD. Founder: "remove
  authenticity check then from Basic."
  It was printed unconditionally on every card, and the Basic path runs no
  such check: the Hive AI-detection call sits inside upload(), the Deep
  world's route, while the Basic world uses try_upload(), and the engine's
  own header says it twice -- "no Hive" and "No Hive AI check". Verified in
  source three ways before this change, after I had already stated one thing
  about these calls from memory and been wrong.
  It stays on the Deep card, where the check does run. Expert calibrated
  stays on both: it refers to the forced-choice calibration corpus, which is
  real and is what the closing line now counts.

  ONE NUMBER, ONE PLACE. 249.7 put the calibration figure in the closing line
  while the verification row near the top still carried it as a chip -- the
  same fact twice on one card, in two vocabularies ("evaluations" and
  "images"). Founder: keep it at the bottom. The chip is removed; the
  verification row is now Authenticity checked and Expert calibrated, plus
  the soul bonus on a Deep card.

  THE ADMIN STRIP IS REMOVED. Founder, on seeing it: "cant have Admin View -
  doesnt make sense. Keep it clean not as an afterthought." He is right. I
  put diagnostics on a member's evaluation to solve a problem of mine -- that
  I cannot read the Railway log -- and a card a photographer keeps is not the
  place to solve it. The log lines remain where they belong.
  IN ITS PLACE, ONE LINE, exactly where he marked it: after the last line of
  the card, "This evaluation is currently based on N calibrated images." His
  words, both worlds, printed only when the figure is known.

  THE ADMIN STRIP. Founder: "check railway logs yourself for these things. -
  i am not A CODER." He is right, and I cannot: Railway's get-logs tool is
  not available in this session, the Railway CLI is not installed, and the
  API is blocked from the sandbox -- all three checked, not assumed. So every
  "search the log for ..." in this session asked him to do a technical job
  because I could not do it. That is the failure the project description
  names, not a division of labour.
  The facts those log lines carried now render at the foot of the card for an
  admin: which world it is, the calibration figure, and exactly which
  Deep-only items were withheld. Rule H asks for a button, a screen or a log
  line rather than a field -- this is the screen.
  Admin only (the route passes the viewer's role) and web only (WeasyPrint
  never sets `web`), so no member sees it and no PDF carries it. Verified by
  rendering all three cases.

  TWO SMALL THINGS, BOTH ABOUT NOT PRINTING A NUMBER WE CANNOT STAND BEHIND.
  The "Calibrated against N evaluations" chip is now conditional: it printed
  weasy_card's frozen 312 on every Basic card because the route passed
  nothing. app.py 182.184 supplies a live figure to both worlds; where none
  can be read the chip disappears rather than inventing one.
  And the third location block is documented as permanently inert -- the
  engine's own schema says mentor_location_3 "Always return null". 248.6
  added it believing the opposite. Kept, so it works if that ever changes.

  SL-VERSION: scorecard_folio-249.4 (Session 249, 2026-10-19, founder 03:03 IST)
  THE FOLIO IS NOW THE SCORECARD ITSELF. Founder, repeatedly and finally at
  03:03: "why are we not getting the web page result as per the folio design
  - despite me asking again and again." He was right to push. /try/result/<id>
  and /image/<id> now serve this page; the old hub templates are no longer
  the scorecard.
  That means the controls those pages carried must live here or they are
  gone, so this adds a sticky action bar, web only: Back, and Save PDF.
  Share is deliberately NOT in it -- it is broken in both worlds today
  (eLevate share_image returns 500; eValuate's canvas is tainted because R2
  serves photographs without CORS headers) and a button that fails is worse
  than one that is absent.
  44px targets and sticky, so the controls are reachable from any point in a
  nine-sheet document without scrolling back.
  WeasyPrint never sets `web`, so the printed folio is untouched.

  STRENGTHS AND GAPS ARE FINDINGS, NOT TAGS. badges_g and badges_w hold the
  engine's strengths and gaps as full sentences; 248.6 merged the two lists
  into one row of short amber pills, so "Cultural specificity stops at
  garment type, does not reach ritual or community" was set as a label, and
  the merge threw away the one thing that matters most about each line --
  whether it is a strength or a gap. Seen on the 18 Oct eLevate card, sheet
  2. They are two named lists now, set at 10.5pt, the same size as the
  dimension observations, because that is what they are.

  NOINDEX ON THE WEB RENDER. Founder: "allowing everyone to see the scorecard
  is the rule now", so /image/<id>/folio and /try/result/<id>/folio are open
  to anyone with the link. Open to a link is not the same as open to a search
  engine: image_detail.html has carried `noindex, nofollow` since SL-181.5
  precisely because a member's photograph and their full evaluation are
  private-by-obscurity, not published. This file is a standalone document --
  it does not extend base.html -- so it never inherited that line, and
  without it the first public folio would have been the first indexable one.

  The free engine writes a single edit_tips field where Sonnet writes a
  balanced and an artistic pair, so on an eValuate card the table reserved
  half the page for a column that never arrived -- the right third of the

  applying on screen too. WeasyPrint never sets `web`, so the printed folio
  is byte-identical to 248.11 -- verified by rendering both from one call.
  The screen block re-asserts only the properties the print block overrode;
  it is not a second copy of the design. Below 820px the sheet stops being a
  sheet and becomes a column, because the 70-year-old readability floor
  outranks the paper metaphor. Verified in Chromium at 1280, 834 and 390:
  no horizontal overflow at any width.

  Both are anchors now and the underline is restored; the stray rule 248.5
  was chasing came from `.masters div` matching the nested .go div, which was
  fixed separately with a child selector.

  THIS TEMPLATE NOW SERVES BOTH WORLDS. try_result_download (eValuate) renders
  from it as well as download_card_pdf (eLevate), so the free card finally
  carries the Shutter League logo -- it never had one. Added for the free
  reader: the "Your evaluations so far" thread and the eValuate standing note.
  Both are empty on the paid card and render nothing there.
  Also: the sheet-2 masthead no longer hardcodes "The deep evaluation,
  continued" -- it printed on the free card too, telling an eValuate reader
  they held the deep evaluation. And `.masters div` became `.masters > div`:
  the descendant selector also matched the nested "See the work" div and gave
  it the cell's top rule, which printed as a stray line under the master's
  note. It looked like a link underline leaking and it was not.

  FIRST SPACING PASS ON THE PRINTED FOLIO. 248.1 went live (confirmed by the
  PDF's own metadata: Producer WeasyPrint 70.0) and this corrects what the
  nine printed pages showed, none of which a local render had revealed:
    * The lens barrel collapsed: pin labels printed outside the left edge of
      the paper, the 6/7/8/9/10 scale printed on top of the gap brace, and the
      five-dimension legend ran off the right edge mid-word.
    * The loupe was 44mm across with a 3.4mm rim -- a heavy black ring a third
      of the page wide, magnifying a 13mm barrel.
    * The photo plate WAS the table cell, so WeasyPrint painted its shadow
      outside the cell and the card appeared to hang off the sheet.
    * The action box's paragraphs had no margin and ran together into a slab.
    * Tinted sheet backgrounds painted coloured blocks that stopped partway
      down the page, making short sheets look unfinished.
    * Sparklines drew a bare line: no dot per reading, no figures.

  SL-VERSION: scorecard_folio-248.1 (Session 248, 2026-10-18)
  THE SINGLE PDF SOURCE. Replaces engine/reportlab_card.py's hand-drawn card.

  WHY THIS FILE EXISTS. Session 141 rendered the Save-PDF from HTML with
  WeasyPrint. Somewhere after that it was replaced by a ReportLab renderer
  whose comment reads "pure Python, no system dependencies" -- but the route
  docstring was never updated and still describes the WeasyPrint render.
  The cause was NOT the Railway image: nixpacks.toml has carried glib, pango,
  cairo, gdk-pixbuf, fontconfig and freetype -- the exact WeasyPrint set --
  for three months and still does. What went missing was the PYTHON PACKAGE:
  requirements.txt has reportlab and no weasyprint. One line, not an outage.
  The old scorecard_pdf.html is orphaned (it rendered nothing from that swap
  onward) and is deleted with this change.

  DESIGN. Carries DESIGN_EVOLVING_EYE_FOLIO_S242 / SAVE_PDF_REDESIGN_S247:
  action first, lens barrel + loupe for the five dimensions, record footer.
  Paper/pastel grounds only -- no dark ground with light copy.

  PAGE LENGTH IS NOT CONSTRAINED. Founder, 18 Oct 08:33: "length of pages
  should never be a hard stopper - keep the design beautiful, wow, always -
  something to be treasured." Type is never shrunk to win a page count; the
  70-year-old readability floor outranks pagination.

  LAYOUT NOTE -- TABLES, NOT GRID. WeasyPrint's CSS Grid support is partial
  and computed the columns wrong (content clipped past the right page edge,
  proven by rendering and inspecting, not assumed). Every multi-column block
  here is display:table. Do not "modernise" these back to grid.
  Also: aspect-ratio is unsupported (photo plate uses a fixed height), and
  the @page rules must NOT be nested inside @media print -- WeasyPrint did
  not apply them there, and every sheet silently took two pages.

  LOCATION CO-ORDINATES ARE NEVER PRINTED. models.py marks the capture
  co-ordinate columns "internal only, never displayed" and they are not
  passed to this template at all. The record block shows camera, lens,
  settings and date only.
